Nexus Express Limited Courier Services – Terms and Conditions 1. Services Provided Nexus Express Limited offers local and international delivery services, including customs clearance for imported goods on behalf of clients. We also provide storage and warehousing for online businesses – for the purpose of acting as a pickup and drop off location 2. Delivery Times Estimated delivery times will vary depending on the destination and service level selected. Nexus Express Limited will not be liable for delays caused by factors outside of our control, such as customs processes, adverse weather, or transportation network disruptions. 3. Customs Clearance For all imported items, Nexus Express Limited provides customs clearance services on behalf of the client. Any duties, taxes, and fees levied by customs authorities are to be paid by the recipient upfront. Shipments will not be released until these payments are settled in full. Nexus has a right to charge its agency fee over and above the standard customs fee charges 4. Declaration of Goods Value It is the responsibility of the client to declare the value of the goods being shipped or imported. This can only be confirmed by us by providing a stamped proof of payment from the bank of the buyer. If no declaration is made, Nexus Express Limited reserves the right to declare the value of the goods based on our assessment, and this declared value will be binding for customs clearance and any claims. 5. Clearance Fees A clearance fee will be charged for each import processed by Nexus Express Limited. This fee must be paid before the release of the shipment to the recipient. 6. Storage Fees If items are not collected within 48 hours after clearance, storage fees will apply at a daily rate. The daily storage fee will accrue until the items are collected or other arrangements are made. 7. Uncollected Items Items that are uncollected for more than 7 days, without prior communication from the client, will be deemed abandoned. Nexus Express Limited reserves the right to take necessary actions, including disposing of the goods or returning them to the sender. Any associated costs will be charged to the client. 8. Duties and Taxes The recipient is responsible for paying all applicable duties, taxes, and customs-related fees. These charges must be settled before the goods can be delivered or released. Failure to pay these charges may result in delays or the return of the goods to the sender. 9. Limitation of Liability Nexus Express Limited shall not be liable for any delays, losses, or damages arising from incorrect or incomplete documentation, customs delays, failure to pay duties and taxes, or any other circumstances beyond our control. Our liability for lost or damaged shipments is limited to the declared value of the goods, as stated by the client or as determined by Nexus Express Limited. 10. Force Majeure Nexus Express Limited will not be responsible for any delays, failures, or loss of shipments caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or other unforeseen circumstances. 11. Amendments Nexus Express Limited reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without notice. Clients will be notified of any changes, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
